Olga Nekrasova | Symbiotic Drift
Olga Nekrasova is an artist from Russia who studies psychology and ecology through abstraction. Working with natural elements such as leaves, shells, and twigs, alongside fluid media like watercolor, ink, resin, and wax, she creates meditative works that oscillate between play and reflection. Her art functions as a release, a way to process inner tensions while opening a contemplative dialogue with viewers.
Her practice has evolved from figurative to abstract, guided by the belief that personal experience and psychological inquiry can lead toward broader spiritual reflection. With a background spanning design, stone craft, and cultural studies, Nekrasova draws from multiple disciplines to develop a tactile, process-oriented approach where fragility and transformation are central.
Nekrasova has presented her work internationally, with solo exhibitions in Venice and Rome and group presentations in New York, Paris, Ljubljana, and Moscow. Her projects have been shown at Palazzo Zenobio (Venice), the Louvre (Paris), and on the screens of Times Square in New York as part of a public art initiative. She has been recognized with awards from Russian Art Week and international contemporary art festivals.
