Olga Nekrasova | Symbiotic Drift
Olga Nekrasova is an artist based in Moscow whose practice moves between ecology, psychology, and abstraction. Using natural elements such as leaves, shells, and twigs together with fluid media like watercolor, ink, resin, and wax, she creates meditative works that oscillate between play and reflection. Her art functions as a space of release, a way to process inner tensions while opening a contemplative dialogue with viewers.
Her practice has evolved from figurative to abstract, guided by the belief that personal experience and psychological exploration can lead toward broader spiritual inquiry. With a background that spans design, stone craft, and cultural studies, Nekrasova draws from multiple disciplines to develop a tactile, process-oriented approach where fragility and transformation are central.
Nekrasova has presented her work internationally, with solo exhibitions in Venice and Rome and group presentations in New York, Paris, Ljubljana, and Moscow. Her projects have been shown at the Affordable Art Fair (New York), Palazzo Zenobio (Venice), and the Louvre (Paris), among others. She has been recognized with awards from Russian Art Week and international contemporary art festivals.
