Luna Popp | Symbiotic Drift
Luna Popp is neither person, artist, nor brand, but a shifting identity for a time when the fabric of reality is nonlinear and mutable. Age, origin, and history are withheld; the bureaucratic and biological self is concealed behind the works. Who Luna is depends entirely on who is watching.
Her practice explores human evolution through genetic memory, entanglement with technology, and the shared consciousness of empathy and art. Weaving between sincerity and self-destruction, her works reflect a restless search for conscious evolution and the haunting desire for immortality.
Working with upcycled books and textiles, Luna creates palimpsests – text layered upon text, pattern upon pattern – transforming archival photographs into collages, installations, and video works. Always masked, she may be many people, or none at all. The question remains: Who is Luna Popp?
