Alice Potts | Symbiotic Drift
Alice Potts is a London-based artist and material innovator whose practice reimagines the body through biotechnology and sustainable design. Known for crystallizing human sweat and developing bio-based plastics, she creates new material languages that link intimacy, ecology, and futurity. Her work expands the possibilities of wearable objects and sculptural environments, situating biotechnology within both fashion systems and contemporary art.
Potts has collaborated with institutions and brands including Gucci, Ballet Black, Mimco, and the NGV Triennial. Her projects span bioplastic product development and sustainable set design, with recent exhibitions including the Barbican, London (Dirty Looks: Desire and Decay in Fashion, 2025–2026).
